Activated Carbon
Activated carbon is a special type of carbon with a high surface area and a microporous structure. Due to its strong adsorption capability, it effectively captures organic substances, volatile compounds, pollutants, and toxins, playing a crucial role in purification and filtration processes.
This material is produced by activating carbon-based raw materials (such as wood, coal, walnut shells, or coconut shells) derived from natural and industrial sources through a specialized process. This process, carried out at high temperatures in a controlled atmosphere, enhances the porous structure of the carbon, allowing it to achieve maximum adsorption capacity.
Activated carbon has a wide range of industrial applications. It is commonly used in ore recovery, water purification, air filtration, chemical processes, pharmaceutical and food production industries. Additionally, it is utilized in safety equipment such as gas masks and respiratory devices to filter out harmful substances.
With its high adsorption capacity, activated carbon offers an effective solution for removing contaminants from water and air. Therefore, it is an indispensable component in both industrial and domestic treatment systems.
Packing: The material is packed in 500 kg net poly woven bags or 25 kg net PP bags with an inner lining, shrink-wrapped, and palletized on fumigated pallets in accordance with ISPM 15 standards.
Storage: Store the material in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Shelf Life: More than 5 years when kept in properly sealed packaging.
Labeling: The label includes the product name, lot number, net weight, gross weight, manufacturer’s name and address, and any other information or markings required by the customer.
