The special activated carbon used in the PSA project has a high adsorption capacity for a specific gas as well as the ability to separate, purify, concentrate and recover other gases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PSA activated carbon is generally produced from raw material extracted from coal. This raw material is ground to 200 mesh and then mixed with a composite catalyst and coal tar. It is then extruded into pellet form in a moulding machine and subsequently carbonised. Activated carbon is given special properties through pickling, activation and other processes. The composite catalyst influences the molecular structure of the raw material, improves the micropore distribution of the activated carbon and ensures a high CO2 adsorption capacity, low costs and high applicability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activated carbon produced with PSA carbon has an improved pore structure, a large specific surface area and large mesopores. Thanks to these properties, it is used in various applications, in particular for separating chlorine and carbon dioxide from the air, for separating methane from fermentation gas and for separating hydrogen from methanol gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This special type of activated carbon, in combination with PSA technology, makes an important contribution to the processes of efficient separation and purification of gases.
